Lloyd Le Blanc
(1940–2026)
It is with great sadness that we mark the death of Lloyd Le Blanc, who died peacefully at home, surrounded by his family and friends.
Together with his wife, sculptor Judith Holmes Drewry, Lloyd Le Blanc built Le Blanc Fine Art and the foundry into a place of lasting importance, supporting generations of artists and overseeing each bronze with care and skill for over 50 years. Their shared legacy is reflected in the work they leave behind and in the many artists they worked alongside.
The foundry is now led by his daughter, Faye Le Blanc, who has worked alongside her father for the past 15 years, first as a partner and later as a director. She carries forward the foundry’s longstanding commitment to artists, craftsmanship and sculpture.
The work continues in the spirit in which it was built.
